Electrical Distribution consists of all aspects of distributing electricity from the production source to the meter connection of customer's homes and businesses. The City of Grand Island Utilities Department was awarded the honor of qualifying for the 2020 Certificate of Excellence in Reliability designated by the American Public Power Association.
